December 2022: Special Topics: Motion to redirect, your honor

Direction and redirection. This is what this class will be about. You will hear testimony on how to shift the directions of classic moves, lead and follow moves in the cross-hand position, and explore how momentum and tension can be used to sustain or overrule a motion. 

Prerequisite: Dancers should be comfortable with the material covered in Lindy 1 to participate in this class. No legal experience is necessary.

COVID-19 Policy: For this in-person class, we are requiring masking and proof of up-to-date vaccination (including boosters) within the past 6 months. Acceptable masks include: KN95, KN94, N95, and surgical masks. Cloth masks are not sufficient; we will provide surgical masks at the door for those who need them.
