It's not a stretch to say that if it weren't for Frankie Manning, we likely wouldn't be dancing the Lindy Hop today. And it certainly wouldn't look the way it does. From his indispensable contributions to the development of the dance in the 1930s and 40s, to his role as an instructor and worldwide ambassador in his later years, no one has had more of an impact on the dance than Frankie. In this mini-series, we'll dig into a few of Frankie Manning's many iconic, signature steps and shapes -- including heels, points, reverse circles, and crossovers.
Students must have completed the Lindy 1 curriculum to sign up for this class. No partner is required.
