January 2020: Special Topics: Dances of the Roaring 20s

Are you going to the Roaring 20s Lawn Party or a different 20's themed event this year? Would you like to improve your overall swing dancing and ability to dance to pre-swing music? Then you should sign up for this special topics class!

In this class you will learn the Charleston, one of the most popular dances of the time. You will also explore different movements and dances that will give you more options to dance to 1920s music but also options to stand out in your Lindy Hop and jazz dancing to swing-era jazz as well.

Class Requirements: This class requires you have taken at least one Lindy 2 class.

Special topics classes are offered in the back room at the Church of Our Saviour, and cover topics and material that are outsidd of the regular Boston Lindy Hop curriculum. Topics and levels are at the discretion of the instructors - please read the class descriptions and prerequisites before signing up!
