October 2021: Breakaway in Lindy Hop

We often practice solo jazz and partnered Lindy hop in siloes, but they are part of the same dance tradition, and have always been used in tandem. (Check out the videos below for some inspiration!) In this class, we will get more comfortable breaking away and returning to our partner during a dance and discovering new ways to do so. Let's experiment!

Class Requirements: You have taken our six-week Lindy 1 series, or equivalent.

COVID-19 Policy: This in-person class requires you to be masked and proof of vaccinatation (two doses of Pzifer or Moderna, or one dose of J&J). Proof of vaccination in the form of a physical card or photo is required before entering class. As mandated by the city of Brookline, you must be fully masked upon entering the venue.
