December 2024: Special Topics: Revisiting Lindy 2 Rhythm, Timing, and Music

In this one off class we’ll plan to revisit major topics from our 6 hour long Lindy 2 Rhythm, Timing and Music series. This includes musicality fundamentals and a basic understanding of swing music, as well as moves like switches, kick ball changes, and the Minnie Dip. We’ll welcome student input during class on what concepts might be most helpful to review during our time. By reviewing these concepts that you’ve already learned and refining your technique, we hope that students will leave this class confident in socially dancing the material from Lindy 2 Rhythm, Timing and Music to a variety of tempos.

Prerequisites: This class requires both Lindy 1 and Lindy 2 Rhythm, Timing, and Music as prerequisites. Material covered in Lindy 2 Rhythm, Timing, and Music will be reviewed, but will not be re-taught. If you have not taken Lindy 2 Rhythm, Timing, and Music, this class will not be a good fit for you.
