December 2024: Special Topics: Sailor Kicks and Other Nautical Nonsense

Ahoy mateys! All aboard our unsinkable ship as we set sail through the choppy waters of Partnered Charleston! You will join the crew on the lower deck for sailor kicks (and Airplane Charleston, although it doesn’t really fit our nautical theme) as we dodge any icebergs along the way. By the end of this sailing adventure, you might also be singing like a mermaid or proclaiming that you are “King of the World” from the prow of the ship: up to you! This is for experienced sea-farers of at least a Lindy 3 level with the prerequisite of Partnered Charleston. Definitely dress for some salty sweatiness: sneakers (not boat shoes) and comfortable clothes a must! Bonus points for horizontal striped shirts and sailor hats.

Prerequisites:  This class will be taught at a Lindy 3 level. Lindy 3 level classes are intended for students who have completed (and are confident in) all elements of the Lindy 2 curriculum (which includes at least one session of Fundamentals). This class will additionally require Partnered Charleston as a prerequisite.
