July 2024: Special Topics: Solo Jazz Adventure

This two part class will work on providing you new material and concepts to work on and work on improvision in jazz dance. The first part of class we will go over some new steps not covered in our introductory solo jazz class. Examples of this could be applejacks or squat charleston. The second part of class will go over improvisiation using movements you already know and potentially adding some of the new movements you just learned.

Prerequisites: This class is open only to students who have completed the Solo Jazz and the Shim Sham class.
