April 2025: Fundamentals: Step-Step or Triple Step?

Have you ever wondered, “How do I know when to triple step and when to step-step?” When is it led and followed? When is it a personal choice? What are the cues? We’re taking a full six hours to break open this topic with lots of practice time so that our social dances can be full of clear connection, creativity, and play.

Prerequisites: Fundamentals classes are aimed at any student who is comfortable and confident with the the Lindy 1 curriculum. We encourage students to consider taking Fundamentals classes concurrently with either Lindy 2 or Lindy 3 classes - everyone can always be working on their fundamentals! As a reminder, advancing to Lindy 3 requires at least 1 Fundamentals class, and completion of the Starlight Pass program requires 2 additional Fundamentals classes.
