Class Description
Our Solo Jazz and the Shim Sham class serves as a great introduction to solo dancing and solo movement. This class may serve as a prerequisite for level 2 Solo Jazz classes and/orLindy 3 if noted in the Lindy 3 description. In this class, you will learn:
- The Shim Sham! A Lindy Hop/Solo Jazz routine that is well known throughout the international swing dancing community.
- Solo Jazz vocabulary, including:
- Knee slaps
- Fishtails
- Applejacks
- Suzy Qs
- And more!
This class will be offered throughout the year on a rotating schedule. There are no prerequisites for this class. No partner is required.
