January 2026: Special Topics: Equal Partners

You've probably heard that a Lindy Hop partnership is like a conversation, but when dancing it can sometimes end up more as a game of Simon Says, causing stress and panic for both roles. In this class, we'll practice the skills of listening and speaking in your primary dance role. When you understand the cues and timing to flow between listener and speaker, you can have a great conversation with your partner and be inspired by one another. We'll move slowly with lots of practice time and opportunities for the instructors to rotate in and dance with every student, providing individual feedback.

Prerequisites: Lindy 1: Movement, Lindy 1: Partnership and at least one Lindy 2 class.
